The City of Lucerne wants to get its residents actively involved in shaping life in the city. In addition to the annual Neighbourhood Day, it has also launched the “Dialog Luzern” participation platform, where you can view current urban projects and find various associations you can join.

In Switzerland, every private household has to pay an annual radio and television licence fee. This is required by law. It is not possible to apply for an exemption.
Only deaf-blind people or recipients of annual old-age and survivors’ insurance (AHV) or invalidity insurance (IV) federal benefits can be exempted from the obligation to pay the household fee upon request.
